About Us

Our Story

Join The Whispering Pine Healing Journey

Our practice is rooted in Indigenous land-based philosophies, which are not just theoretical concepts to us, but rather our lived and ongoing experiences. We recognize that the land holds immense power in healing, and we incorporate this knowledge into our approach.

The name “Whispering Pine” holds a profound significance for us: it is a cherished legacy passed down to us by our beloved grandparents. In the quiet moments of our childhood, we would reach out to them through the radio, whispering, “Whispering Pine, are you there?” It was our way of connecting with them. This heartfelt connection with our grandparents symbolizes the essence of our practice.

Our specialization in trauma healing is deeply intertwined with our commitment to honoring Indigenous practices as profound pathways to recovery.

Our Mission

"...We believe that acknowledging and integrating Indigenous wisdom is not just an option, but a vital and therapeutic approach to healing. The trauma experienced by Indigenous communities throughout history has left lasting scars, and we understand that healing must address not only individual wounds but also the collective trauma caused by colonization..."

Jenny Rudrum

Recovery Coach

"Throughout my life I have gone through challenges that have strengthened me. My goal is to help others address their challenges with the tools that I have been trained in. For 23 years I have had amazing mentors that have allowed me to work under their wing long enough for me to have the confidence to offer approaches that work for every individual that wants help to heal. I’m certified in various therapeutic modalities but I’ve always been guided by indigenous ceremonial practices."
